ABOUT CHAR’S JERK CHICKEN & MORE
I am Rick Murphy. I recently retired from GM after 25 years. I am a proud dad and grandparent, and I am married to Char Murphy. I love to serve others, and I love to serve Jesus.
I am Char Murphy, a retired RN with over 39 years of nursing experience. My Nursing career extends as a floor nurse, nursing instructor, nursing supervisor, and nurse CEO. I have a passion for serving others. I love to cook, and I love the Lord Jesus. I am proudly married to Rick Murphy.
At Char’s Jerk Chicken & More, we passionately share our love for Jamaican food with the community of Okemos, MI, and surrounding areas. Starting out as a family-run kitchen, we have grown into a local favorite, known for our authentic dishes, warmth and love, and a dedication to quality meals. Every dish on our menu is rooted in authentic Jamaican flavors and features traditional Jamaican dishes.
